I just called to inquire about getting my adult son with special needs who is also nonverbal an eye appointment. The young lady, Britney, that helped me stated that their office has experience working with people with special needs but recommended another provider in Asheville that is better equipped to provide care for people who are nonverbal. I have called places in the past that have said they are experienced and when we arrived, didn’t have a clue how to interact with my son. I appreciate a practice that clearly puts the needs of the community they serve over filling their caseload. I will be coming to see you for MY next eye exam. :)
